I am a Director in KPMG’s Accounting Advisory Services practice, where I provide technical accounting and financial reporting guidance to clients undergoing accounting, regulatory, and/ or transformational change. Before joining KPMG, I served as technical staff at the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB), where I worked on an array of standard–setting projects concerning public, private, and not – for – profit entities. Prior to my time at the FASB, I worked as an accountant at an e–commerce start–up, where I gained experience in private company accounting and control implementation. I believe strongly in the power of mentoring and have seen first–hand how it has helped my career and the careers of others around me. My general approach to mentoring is to be open–minded and supportive, and always listen to what my mentees desire.
