Cole was born and raised in Aliso Viejo, a small town in Orange County, CA. During hisfreshman year of high school, he spoke with several CFOs and VPs of Finance who described their work to him and Cole found their profession quite intriguing. Cole shares that they advised him to start in accounting as they did to find myself in their position someday.

Last summer, 2021, Cole began work in accounting at BaltUSA, a medical device manufacturing firm. This summer, 2022, he has a position at Kieckhafer Schiffer LLP implementing a data analytics system, Alteryx, to shorten the audit process. Lastly, next summer, 2023, he has decided to intern with PwC in the audit practice. Outside of accounting, Cole love to play music and swim/weightlift. He adds “My most memorable takeaway from GEMS was listening to the CFO of SpaceX speak about his career progression during our site visit.”
