Laura is a USC Marshall student studying Business Administration, with an emphasis in Marketing and a minor in Linguistics. In addition to GEMS, her involvement at USC includes being a member of the Marshall Business Network and sitting on the Professional Development Committee for the USC chapter of American Marketing Association. In the summer of 2022, she interned for Horizon Media’s Business Solutions department, and she aims to eventually build a career in international marketing. GEMS has been an eye-opening, horizon-widening experience for Laura, introducing her not only to a variety of industries which she may not have otherwise explored, but also to professionals within those industries who have been able to share their insights, journeys, and advice. In great part thanks to GEMS, Laura is confident that she will graduate from USC with a strong network of both peers and mentors, as well as a better understanding of the inner workings of the corporate world.
